With experience across New Zealand, Australia and Europe, he specialises in privacy compliance, data security, and the integration of AI-driven solutions. He has handled high-stakes public and corporate matters, protecting sensitive health, financial, and commercial data while ensuring regulatory compliance. Anthony has led major cyber incident responses and helped align New Zealand’s privacy laws with global standards. He holds legal qualifications in Australia and New Zealand, is a Certified Information Privacy Professional in Europe.

Richard is a Partner in the First Response team and Chief Technology Officer at Atmos. He has been at the forefront of cyber and privacy risk for over 10 years and supports a diverse client base, including many ASX200 and NZX50 companies, global multi-nationals and government agencies. As a recognised leader in cyber innovation, Richard has driven the development of a broad range of technology-led solutions that allow clients to respond more efficiently and effectively to cyber and privacy events. With deep expertise, real-world crisis experience, and a passion for innovation, Richard takes a pragmatic approach to helping his clients navigate the changing cyber and privacy landscape. Richard is admitted to practice and advises clients in Australia and New Zealand. In New Zealand, he is the Head of Atmos New Zealand.

Stefanie is a trusted leader in cyber incident response based in Brisbane, known for her considered and strategic approach to high-pressure incidents. She brings clarity and control to crises, helping organisations regain stability, mitigate reputational harm and navigate complex regulatory challenges, including engagement with the OAIC, ASIC, and other government bodies. Specialising in ransomware and business email compromise, she provides decisive guidance to minimise risk. She also advises on funds recovery and claims mitigation, assisting organisations in tracing misdirected funds. Having advised ASX-listed companies and SMEs, Stefanie is a recognised authority in cyber response and regulatory compliance.

Reece Corbett-Wilkins is the Head of First Response Australia, and is the Chief Strategy Officer at Atmos. For over 10 years, Reece has focused exclusively on cyber and privacy risk, having helped 1,000+ organisations through some of their most challenging times. Reece is particularly experienced in managing large scale multi-party data breaches, both locally and globally, and ransomware response. Reece works closely with the incident response industry, government, and law enforcement to achieve optimal outcomes for clients. Reece's true passion is bringing the industry together to tackle this risk at an aggregate level. Reece is recognised for his contributions to thought leadership and law reform initiatives.

Jacky is an experienced commercial litigator with a focus on privacy litigation, large loss multi-party recoveries and regulatory response. As an integral member of the Atmos Disputes and Investigations team, Jacky is known for his pragmatic and calm approach. He provides clients with strategic counsel and unwavering support, ensuring they navigate complex situations with confidence and clarity. Jacky has provided advice in respect of litigation and regulatory risks in some of Australia’s largest data breaches and has successfully assisted clients with recovering losses from misdirected funds, third party breaches (including multi-party data breaches), ransomware attacks in Australia and globally.

Steph is Director, Response for the National Office of Cyber Security. Steph has worked in a variety of government roles over the past 16 years. More recently, Steph’s focus has shifted to National Security and Cyber Security, where she currently leads efforts to bolster coordinated cyber response activities. Reporting to the National Cyber Security Coordinator, Steph works alongside Commonwealth, state and territory agencies to coordinate consequence management activities for nationally significant cyber security incidents. Steph is passionate about bolstering industry-government relations through genuine collaboration in response to cyber incidents, believing we can best protect our nations interests through transparency and cooperation.

Joe Tidy is an award-winning cyber correspondent at BBC News and the author of Ctrl+Alt+Chaos. Renowned for his reporting on hacking, cybercrime, data security and online safety, Joe has spent years investigating the people and communities behind some of the world's most significant cyber incidents. His work explores not just the technical side of cyber threats, but the motivations, culture and psychology of hackers, from organised criminal groups to ethical hackers working to strengthen digital defences.

Niall Watson-Dunne is a Senior Investment Manager of global litigation funder, Omni Bridgeway. Niall is responsible for sourcing and assessing prospective funding opportunities, structuring bespoke litigation finance arrangements, and managing funded class actions and single party claims in Australia and New Zealand to successful outcomes. Niall is a strong advocate for access to justice and has underwritten some of Australia’s largest class actions that seek to hold corporations to account, pursuing redress on behalf of millions of consumers. He is recognised in Lexology Thought Leaders - Third Party Funding (2025) and Chambers and Partners Litigation Support Guide (2024-2025).

Catherine is an experienced crisis manager who transitioned from handling some of New Zealand’s largest emergency events to cyber incident management six years ago. In 2020, she established Incident Response Management for Health New Zealand, leveraging co-design and a people-centred approach to transform the nationwide delivery of cyber security incident response across Health New Zealand. By integrating coordinated incident management into cyber security practices, Catherine has enabled Health New Zealand to take a holistic, sector-wide approach to response capability, collaborating with teams across the health sector to protect the most vulnerable from cyberattacks. Beyond actively managing cyber response efforts, Catherine leads projects to strengthen response capabilities across the Health New Zealand workforce and sector.

Elliott is a Manager in the Readiness team. He supports clients in managing cyber risk through a blend of strategic advisory and legal-adjacent services. He brings a background in cyber security consulting from the Big Four, where he advised organisations across the financial services, energy, education, transport, manufacturing, telecommunications, and the broader New Zealand public sector. His experience includes supporting C-suite, tactical, and operational stakeholders to drive and enhance organisational cyber security maturity and resilience, with a strategic focus on building incident readiness and ensuring a coordinated, effective response to cyber threats.

Lindsay Faithfull is Managing Director and majority owner of McKay Limited, a leading New Zealand electrotechnology company employing over 900 people with operations across New Zealand and the United States. He brings extensive governance and executive experience across the investment, infrastructure, energy and industrial sectors, with a strong focus on strategy, capital delivery and long-term asset performance. Lindsay is Deputy Chair of the Ngāpuhi investment fund Tupu Tonu, and a director of Naut Limited. He is a Chartered Member of Engineering New Zealand and the UK Institution of Engineering and Technology, a UK Chartered Engineer, and a Member of the Institute of Directors. He holds a BE(Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Canterbury. Lindsay was appointed a director of Northport Group Limited in June 2025.

Benjamin Wavell-Smith is Group Chief Risk Officer at BSP Financial Group and a Director of the Business Council of Papua New Guinea. With more than 35 years of international banking experience, he has held senior business, credit, risk and compliance leadership roles across Australia, the United States and the Asia-Pacific region. At BSP, Benjamin leads enterprise-wide risk management across the Group’s Pacific operations, with a focus on strengthening risk governance, resilience, sustainable growth and organisational capability. He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), holds a Graduate Diploma in Business and Innovation from the Australian Institute of Management, and is currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Digital Transformation at RMIT University.

Michael took up the role of Privacy Commissioner in July 2022. Commissioner Webster’s career has focused on enabling and driving good governance, the promotion of democratic rights and values, the development and application of codes of conduct and behaviour and working to ensure compliance with both statutory provisions and constitutional conventions. Since taking up the role, Commissioner Webster has focused on ensuring the Office of the Privacy Commissioner is equipped to deliver on its vision of making privacy a core focus for agencies, in order to protect New Zealanders from harm, enable agencies to achieve their own objectives, and safeguard our free and democratic society. That has seen a strengthening of the compliance and enforcement and guidance functions, a focus on delivering on the Office’s regulatory stewardship responsibilities, and advocating for a regulatory framework and Privacy Act that’s fit for purpose in the digital age.

James is the Head of Government Relations at Atmos, leading efforts to strengthen ties with government agencies and manage large-scale cyber incidents. Previously, he founded ID Support NSW, an NSW Government department dedicated to aiding victims of identity theft with innovative tools and resources. James also contributed to the National Strategy for Identity Resilience, collaborating with various agencies to enhance identity security. His career is distinguished by his leadership in cybersecurity, data breach response, and public service innovation, earning him recognition and accolades in the field.

Manell was appointed Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary of Cuscal Limited in July 2026. Manell leads Cuscal’s legal and company secretariat functions and has held a number of senior legal roles since joining Cuscal in March 2023, including Head of Legal. Manell is an experienced legal executive with over 20 years’ experience in banking and financial services, with deep expertise in corporate, commercial and regulatory matters and a strong track record leading complex enterprise-wide projects and initiatives. Before joining Cuscal, Manell was Deputy General Counsel at ASX-listed finance company FleetPartners Group. Prior to that, Manell was Senior Banking Counsel at ING Bank Australia and held legal roles at St George Bank and Westpac. Manell holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from the University of Wollongong and is admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia. Manell is also a member of the Banking and Financial Services Law Association.

Jordan Heersping is a cyber security professional with nearly a decade of experience, including five years leading government cyber incident response. As Manager of the National Cyber Security Centre’s Incident Management function, he has led responses to cyber security incidents ranging from routine events to nationally significant incidents on behalf of the New Zealand Government and is recognised for his calm, decisive leadership during crises.
