You do not need to provide us with your personal or sensitive information
You may choose not to provide us with your personal or sensitive information. What personal information we collect about you
Subject to the requirements of the role, we will collect your:
- full name, email address, telephone number;
- feedback about what you look for in a great place to work;
- information provided on your application form, in your CV and/or during an interview or pre-employment screening and testing;
- psychometric assessment information (e.g. personality and cognitive ability assessments) which is your sensitive information;
- background check information (e.g. criminal record, academic record, accessibility requirements, ethnic social origin) which is your sensitive information;
- qualifications and employment history, including the information you have provided to us in your resume and covering letter, any information contained in public social media profiles and any information provided to us by a former employer or a referee;
- identity information such as your passport and/or driver’s license details, date of birth and residency status (some of which may be your sensitive information); and/or
- photographs and/or CCTV recording of you attending our premises (which is your sensitive information).
How we collect personal information about you
We will collect most personal information about you directly from you, including information you provide to us throughout the recruitment process. We will also collect personal information about you from third parties, such as your named referees, background check providers, recruitment or contractor firms where you have applied via them to be considered for a job with us. We will also sometimes use recruitment service providers such as Seek and Linkedin where we post job advertisements and collect candidate responses.
Why we collect personal information about you
We collect personal information and, where indicated in this Candidate Privacy Policy, sensitive information about you for the following purposes:
- to verify your identity;
- to shortlist Candidates and contact shortlisted Candidates to progress their application;
- to respond to your queries regarding your application or prospective employment with us;
- to provide information to you regarding your application for a job with us;
- to notify you of any updates in relation to your application;
- to assess your suitability as a Candidate and/or identify employment opportunities that match your profile, experience and expertise;
- to detect and investigate any grievances or concerns, alleged misconduct and suspected unlawful activity;
- where applicable, to provide you with information regarding your relationship or contract with us;
- for statistical analysis to help us better serve Candidates;
- for Diversity and Inclusion or other programs applicable to you and for which you have opted-in; and

Disclosure
We will disclose your personal information to Employment Hero and provide access to a third-party contractor to assist us with considering, assessing and processing your job application and any enquiries you make.
Security of your personal information
We take reasonable steps in the circumstances to protect your personal information.
Sharing information overseas
Our third-party contractor referred to above is based in India and will access your personal information in Employment Hero from India.
Accessing and/or correcting your personal information
You have the right to request access to and/or to update/correct any personal information we hold about you. For any request to do so, you must provide evidence of your identity which must clearly show that you are the person whose personal information is being requested or is being sought to be corrected/updated.
